FairLife summits Europe’s highest peak (Elbrus 5,642 m) to support Fairline 111 57, a counselling helpline, related to Lung Cancer.

FairLife L.C C. joins distinguished climbers in an effort to raise money (FundRaising event)

FairLife Lung Cancer Care, the first non-profit organization, exclusively dedicated to Lung Cancer in Greece, aims to support patients and their caregivers during the course of treatment and to raise public awareness regarding prevention, early diagnosis and screening, which save lives. Thus, Fairlife implements the Helpline 111 57, related to Lung Cancer.

Through actions such as the Breathtaking events, Fairlife promotes the concept of health as a way of life and not just the absence of illness and disability.

In our effort to highlight the importance of a healthy lifestyle and support our vision, we welcome Kiki Tsakaldimi, mountaineer and Brand Ambassador of FairLife L.C.C.

Her message:  “Knowing what it means to lose your breath, I understand and empathize with the thousands of friends who are fighting against lung cancer. The ascent to Elbrus is a proof that everything is possible, as long as we fight for it. We join forces with FairLife L.C.C. and dedicate our ascent to fund the 111 57 Lung Cancer Support Line. The fight against Lung Cancer is a mountain we climb together.”

Kiki will be attempting to summit Elbrus together with the internationally renowned climber – activist, Satyabrata Dam, whose achievements are remarkable, by being the only person in the world who has successfully led expeditions to Mount Everest, the North and South Poles and having climbed the highest peaks of the 7 continents. As the first international Brand Ambassador FairLife L.C.C., he sends us his message:

Everyone has their own personal Everest to climb and probably yours is taller than mine. Reaching the top of our own Mount Everest and facing the difficulties we will encounter is the only way to overcome our limits and fears and realize how strong and admirable we are. Giving up is not an option. If we give up our dreams, what is left for us to live? It is said that the man who climbs a mountain will never be the same when he descends.  Dream on, chase the impossible and do the possible. What you will find at the top is LIFE! So, let LIFE take your breath away and not your lung cancer.

The team is completed by Ioannis Karadoukas, a 74-year-old climber, who started with Kiki the “conquest” of his own peak, two years ago. Ioannis Karadoukas sends the message that dreams have no age limits, no restrictions, having already climbed to remarkable heights.

Korina Pateli-Bell, President of FairLife LCC added: “Three people from different generations ages inspire each other in chasing their dreams. In turn, they inspire us all with their way of life. The mission will head to Moscow on August 29 and be completed on September 13. FairLife’s peak is the operation of the 11157 Lung Cancer Helpline, warmly supported by our mountaineers. In order to achieve this goal, any help is useful. Coordinate your steps with those of Kiki, Satya, Ioannis and FairLife LCC, financially supporting our effort. Together we will reach our own peak .”
