Fairlife supports the event “Heart steps, life breaths”, hosted by the Hellenic Society of Thoracic & Cardiovascular Surgeons

 

The Hellenic Society of Thoracic & Cardiovascular Surgeons (HCTSS), in collaboration with the Pulmonary Clinic of the University of Thessaly and supported by the Medical Association of Magnesia and the non-profit organization FairLife Lung Cancer Care , hosts its annual fall event, entitled “Heart steps, life breaths” in the beautiful city of Volos.

The purpose of the event is to highlight the value of exercise for the prevention of cardiovascular disease and lung cancer. The event will be attended by the new Ambassador of FairLife, the distinguished mountaineer Nikos Magitsis, the only greek alpinist to have completed the project “Explorers Grand Slam”, by climbing the “7 Summits (Everest, Aconcagua, McKinley, Kilimanjaro, Elbrus, Vinson, and Carstensz).

The event will end on Sunday October 10th, with a walk along the beach of Volos. The purpose of the walk is to show the wider public the impact of regular exercise on the quality of life and disease prevention.

The scientific event is hybrid and can be attended physically in the conference room of the hotel “Valis” or digitally through livemedia (www.livemedia.gr/hsvolos21).
