«Learn, Act, Hope» – Educational Digital Library for Lung Cancer.

FairLife’s pioneering initiative.

With the collaboration of health scientists

FairLife L.C.C., the first non-profit organization, exclusively dedicated to lung cancer in Greece, coordinates lung cancer information by creating the new topic library “Learn, Act, Hope”. For the first time, information covers the whole journey through lung cancer disease, providing support to the patient, when needed.

«Learn, Act, Hope» addresses the general public. The information is presented in a manner that is readily accessible to new patients and relatives as well as to anyone interested in learning more about lung cancer. Through speeches, interviews and videos, the reader/viewer receives answers in a clear and simple way.

“Learn, Act, Hope” is actually a guide for everyone. The topics are not just informative. They work as prevention incentives, promoting early diagnosis in a clear and proactive way. The section is being constantly updated and enriched with new data and the latest studies on lung cancer.

To create the information material, brochures and videos, FairLife L.C.C. works with many scientists from different disciplines, posing them questions that any lung cancer patient would want to ask. The experts’ answers shed substantial light on several issues, such as:

  • – Prevention & early detection
  • – Diagnosis and lung cancer staging
  • – Biomarkers (EGFR, ALK, NTRK, KRAS, ROS1)
  • – Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer
  • – Small Cell Lung Cancer
  • – Clinical studies
  • – Thoracic Surgery
  • – Radiotherapy
  • – Bronchoscopy
  • – Liquid biopsy
  • – Immunotherapy
  • – Targeted therapy

You can find informative videos, speeches and interviews on FairLife’s website and on Facebook.

Presenting the new section «Learn, Act, Hope», Korina Pateli-Bell, President of FairLife LCC, adds: “Our journey should serve as a source of information on issues that concern the general public and lung cancer patients. The “Learn-Act-Hope library” and the FairLife 11157 support line reflect our effort to build a fully updated informative section, in collaboration with distinguished scientists. The section is meant to provide a baseline for information related to prevention and to the journey of patients and relatives”.
