Healthy environment equals healthy lungs! 🫁
When we work sustainably, the world works better for people and the planet. Adopting Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) principles means we should focus on core essentials. It means we must be able to show how we are caring for our communities, our workforce, and the planet, while we carry out our mission.
Within the ESG framework:
🔸 We will continue to raise awareness on environmental issues as key factors to maintain healthy lungs. Our breath is worth every fight!
🔸 We work with institutions and organizations with sustainable values, so as to translate “green mindset” into “green action”!
🔸 We pressure for diversity, we pressure for a social net that protects human beings!
🔸 On the social aspect, we will continue to advocate for patients’ equal opportunities to fight lung cancer and a Fair Life for every patient, every caregiver, every family member, impacted by the disease.
Lung cancer risk is not only associated with the smoking habit. Among the main risk factors for lung cancer, air pollution has an important impact on lungs’ health. Moreover, the environment has great impact on people already living with lung disease. There is a proven link between tiny particulates in polluted air and lung cancer cases.

Innovative research is the key against the disease❗

Scientists discovered that people regularly exposed to higher levels of air pollution were at increased risk of EGFR LC mutation and other cancers. As they explain, it is possible for these mutations to exist in healthy cells, in the case of non-smoking lung cancer.
