Dr. Athina Christopoulou is Head in the department of internal medicine, division of clinical oncology, oncology unit since 2015. She holds a Degree in Internal Medicine (1999) and Medical Oncology (2006).

She has been a post CCT Fellowship in a number of Institutions such as Goustave Roussy Institute of Paris and Cromwell Hospital of London, Hospital Agios Savvas of Athens and in Ygeia Hospital Athens as wells as the Montpellier Cancer Research Institute.

Furthermore, she holds the title of President for organizing and scientific committee of numerous scientific congresses, Member of scientific committee and administrative council of HECOG, Member of ASCO/ESMO, Member of steering committee in several trials of ENGOT and Member of the Administrative council of HESMO.

Last but not least, she is the Principal Investigator in numerous national and international clinical trials, having publications in various in Greece and abroad.
