Christos Antonopoulos is a board-certified Infectious Diseases physician. He holds an Executive MBA from the IMD Business School in Switzerland, a MSc in Clinical Infectious Diseases from Imperial College School of Medicine and a PhD in Medicine from Royal Free and University College London Medical School.

He started his career as a clinician at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital in London where he gained clinical experience. He has extensive experience in Pharmaceutical Industry holding several positions of increasing responsibilities in Medical Depts both locally and globally in some of the major multinational companies as AstraZeneca, Roche, Amgen and Boehringer Ingelheim.

In October 2015, he joined AstraZeneca Greece in the position of Medical Director while on May 2017 he appointed Director for Oncology – Hematology Business Unit.

Christos Antonopoulos is a member of the General Medical Council and various medical societies in the United Kingdom and Greece. Since 2004 he is a reviewer in British Journal of Dermatology & AIDS and has published 12 papers in peer reviewed international medical journals.
