Dr. Eleftherios Eleftheriadis is a surgical pathologist. He received his M.D from the Aristotelian University of Thessaloniki School of Medicine in 1985 having at the same time concluded his obligatory military service. He completed his residency in pathology at the “Theageneion” Cancer Hospital of Thessaloniki in 1990. At the same time, he embarked on his PhD titled “Diagnostic Approach of Bone marrow biopsy in Hodgkin’s Disease” at the Aristotelian University of Thessaloniki School of Medicine which was concluded in 1992.
From 1991 to 2011 he served as Head of the Histocytopathology Laboratory, the Prefectural Unit of Health, Thessaloniki, Institution for Social Insurance.
From 1991 to today he is VP and Managing Director of ISTODIEREVNITIKI S.A. a private Histocytopathology Laboratory operating in Thessaloniki and exclusive pathology provider to INTERBALKAN Medical Center.
his clinical interests focus on Uropathology, application and assessment of biomarkers in oncology while he has gained extended experience in quality assurance in the diagnostic laboratory setting.
In 2010 he received his Executive Master in Business Administration (with Honors), from ALBA Graduate Business School.
From 2018 he is also an auditor of the Hellenic National Board for Accreditation.
From 2001 to 2006 he served as councilor to the Vice Commodore for Health, Institution for Social Insurance and Head of the Department of Biomedical Technology at the same Institution.
From 2000 to 2002 he participated, as VP, at the executive Board of the Hellenic Society of Pathology.
