Korina Pateli- Bell’s speech at the web conference “I don’t smoke … I choose LIFE”, held by the Association of Cancer Patients KEFI. Launch of youth anti-smoking campaign “14 Minutes FairLife”. FairLife teams up with a group of teen volunteers in a range of anti-smoking activities for young people by young people!

FairLife Lung Cancer Care, the first non-profit organization in Greece, exclusively dedicated to lung cancer, actively supports prevention, lung health awareness and an overall healthy life. This time, FairLife addresses teenagers and young people, who hold the key to a better future and in turn convey the message about smoking health risks to their peers.

In this context, we proudly present the video14 minutes of FairLife – for young people by young people“, the first of a series of anti-smoking actions, organized by FairLife in collaboration with teen volunteers. Youth ambassadors advocate for a tobacco-free world in schools and youth centres.

Orestis Fotis Mikelakis, the 10th grader and youngest Ambassador of FairLife, asked his peers to openly speak about smoking and deliver the message that each cigarette reduces our life by 14 minutes and that we  definitely can make better use of our time. The video, created by a group of 11 students from 9 different schools, is a call to young people by young people to get together, take action, and lead their way to the first tobacco-free generation.
