FairLife Lung Cancer Care welcomes 2022 with inspiring actions to stop the course of Lung Cancer

Three Greek athletes – Ioannis Fountoulis, Olympic champion and captain of the national polo team, Byron Kokkalanis, windsurfing Olympic champion and Zisis Soulios, Greek cycling champion – become FairLife’s new ambassadors and engage in awareness-raising initiatives, carrying the message: “Lung cancer can be beaten!

FairLife organizes the first national creative writing and poster competition, addressed to middle and high school students and entitled “The first tobacco/vape-free generation“. The initiative is the starting point for a series of activities and collaboration with schools, related to the subject and especially focused on young people.

A new, fictional hero, LUCA, is born – inspired by the story of Simon Bell, created by the AstraZeneca team and kindly supported by the Lung Ambition Alliance –to portray the challenges of lung cancer and the importance of prevention, in a deeply moving way. Luca’s story raises awareness about the active role of both patients and caregivers in every stage of the lung cancer journey.
